Athina Markopoulou

Bio.
I received my Diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the
National Technical University of Athens, Greece, in 1996.
I received my Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from
Stanford University,
in 1998 and 2002 respectively.
Since then, I have been a postdoctoral research fellow
with the
Information Systems Laboratory at Stanford,
a member of the technical staff with the
IP Group at
Sprintlabs, and I also spent
half year at Arastra Inc.(a start-up in the bay area). I joined the
EECS faculty
at UCI in Jan. 2006.
During my Ph.D., I had internships at Aloha Networks, Nokia Research Center,
and Cisco Systems. I received the NSF CAREER award in 2008.
At UCI, I am affiliated with
the EECS Dept. in the H.Samueli School of Engineering,
the Networked Systems Program,
Calit2,
CPCC,
and SCONE.
