Welcome to Enis Akay's Homepage!

Hello Everybody!

Welcome to my webpage. Here you can find some information about me as well as some pictures.

In short, I was born in 1978 in the beautiful city Izmir, Turkey. I spent the first 17 years of my life in Izmir just living the good life. Then I moved to the capital, Ankara, to get my Electrical and Electronics Engineering Bachelor's degree at the Middle East Technical University. In 1999, September I moved to Irvine, CA to get my M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department of University of California, Irvine. My Ph.D. life was just like the other Ph.D. students lives. Check www.phdcomics.com to get a better understanding. Finally, in 2006 I became Dr. Enis Akay. Since then I am working in Silicon Valley.
