Ersin SENGUL received the B.S. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, in June 2001 and the M.S. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey, in August 2003. He completed the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the University of California, Irvine in June 2007. From September 2003 to to June 2007, he was with the Center for Pervasive Communications and Computing, University of California, Irvine, where he was a Graduate Student Researcher. During the summer of 2006, he was with the Corporate R&D department of Qualcomm Inc. Since 2007, he has been working as a Staff Systems Scientist at Broadcom Corp., Irvine, CA, concentrating on system aspects of current and next generation wireless products. His current research interests include design and analysis of MIMO wireless systems, beamforming, antenna diversity techniques via reconfigurable antennas and limited feedback techniques for practical implementations.
