Inanc's Research

My research interests include protocol design for wired and wireless communication networks, fair access and Quality-of-Service (QoS) provisioning, analytical network modeling and simulation, information theory and coding.

My dissertation is on QoS provisioning in 802.11 Wireless LANs. Besides, we have built a PHY/MAC simulation tool based on ns-2 for most recent versions of 802.11 standards, known as 802.11e and 802.11n. (Hybrid Coordination Function (HCF) Simulation Module for ns-2.28)

For my MS degree, I have studied on LDPC codes and joint source channel decoding.
